22 czerwca w Sejmie odbyło się spotkanie Grupy Inicjatywnej ds. związków partnerskich z przedstawicielami SLD: Sławomirem Kopycińskim, posłem oraz Katarzyną Piekarską, wiceprzewodniczącą partii.Na spotkaniu przekazaliśmy SLD założenia do projektu ustawy o związkach partnerskich i ustaliliśmy wspólny harmonogram dalszych prac nad projektem.
Przedstawiciele SLD zdeklarowali, iż w połowie lipca (przed EuroPride), zostanie podjęta przez Klub Lewicy decyzja, kiedy projekt ustawy zostanie przedłożony w Sejmie.
Przekazanie założeń do ustawy, które są wynikiem blisko 20 spotkań Grupy Inicjatywnej w całej Polsce jest przełomowym wydarzeniem w naszej dotychczasowej rocznej już działalności.
